One-on-One Instruction

IST provides customized one-on-one tutoring in all core academic subjects to students in grades 4-12, at all levels, including Honors and AP. Our tutors are college graduates and most hold master's degrees in their respective areas of expertise. Not only are they inherently brilliant, but, IST tutors also possess an instinctive ability to engage and motivate our students to excel.

Parents are pleased to find that most students increase their performance in the respective subject(s) by at least two letter grades (e.g., "D" to "B") after as few as eight sessions. Intensive tutoring is offered throughout the summer for students looking to catch up or leap ahead for the upcoming academic year. Popular subjects include, but are not limited to:

FREE Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Program

IST's Brilliant BrainGain™ SES Program is a FREE intensive math and language arts small-group tutoring and exciting summer academic enrichment program offered exclusively to income-eligible students attending selected schools in Prince George's County, MD.

Under the No Child Left Behind Act, income-eligible students who attend schools in Maryland that have failed to meet state standards for three or more years can receive federally-funded educational services from IST, an approved Maryland state provider of Supplemental Educational Services.
